Harvard Club of Boston Friends of Education Award

The Harvard Club of Boston honored Dr. Karen Bohlin with Friends of Education Award for her distinguished service to education at their annual Book Prize Breakfast on October 20, 2022. Harvard Alumnus and Book Prize Committee member, Paul Brennan, noted that “Dr. Bohlin’s contributions to education are ample,” commending her twenty-five plus years of leadership, scholarship and teaching in character formation and applied virtue ethics.

At  Montrose School, the LifeCompass Institute and Boston University Dr. Bohlin served thousands of students, families, and educators worldwide, and building on that transformative work, Paul Brennan concluded, “Karen now directs the Practical Wisdom Project at the Abigail Adams Institute in Cambridge providing executive education that shines a light on a crucial need in the world today: leadership for human flourishing.”
